The realities of life and society are that adversity plagues everyone at some point in time. TIME is the critical factor in how individuals respond to and rally back from adversity. Unfortunately, children are oftentimes the ones affected by adversities hand. The sad reality is that children lack the acuity to recognize adversity, nor the wisdom to rationalize it. Even worse, those children that have been victimized face life’s hardest test.
Whatever the hardship, Every Kid Counts – The Lion and The Legend is committed to empowering these children with the Love, Compassion, Resources and Guidance they need to build ‘Foundational Confidence’ and lead healthy, productive lives. In finding their path to kindness and self worth, EKC will stand ready to support youth empowerment through Counseling, Therapy, Rehabilitation, Diet, Education, Athletics, Music, Arts and Social integration programs that emboldens a child’s intellectual maturity, strengthens their emotional resilience and enables their growth in becoming productive citizens and leaders in their respective communities.
The Pillars of Foundational Confidence are rooted Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spiritual well being.
EKC’s Youth Empowerment program is an open cause forum that allows members and communities to rally around a child or a group of children.
A Child in need is our Cause indeed!
